Tea Time: The Night Circus

Tea: Glitter and Gold (David’s Tea)tea
A black tea with hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and orange that taste absolutely magical together! Not only does it taste amazing, the tea is also mesmerizing to look at! It literally shimmers like gold glitter in the light (hence the name Glitter and Gold). This tea was recommended to me by one of my friends, and it has become one of my all time favourites! Definitely worth a taste test!

Book: The Night Circus
An equally magical book to match my choice of tea! The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern focuses on a competition between two young magicians at a circus that only opens at night. I’m only on page 120 but I’m already entranced! I’ve fallen in love with both Celia and Marco (the two magicians), so I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens to them. My fingers are crossed that there will be a happy ending to this strange competition, which neither of the magicians signed up for of their own free will. Needless to say, I’ll be curled up with this book for the rest of the night!

  1. I’m fairly new to tea, having recently acquired a British son-in-law! Am entranced by the huge variety of flavors. Am currently trying various green teas. Next time round, a walnut green tea will be on my grocery list. Love your book reviews! I’ve request Night circus from the library

  2. Um, Nat, what an adorable post! I love getting an inside look at how people read.. during the day, late at night, with coffee, tea, a glass of wine or a beer. This made me smile. Please do more of them!!
