My To-Read Pile

read

This is my current pile of books sitting beside my bed that I have yet to read (not counting library books). It’s actually not as bad as I thought it was now that I’ve broken the one HUGE pile into three smaller ones! This pile was a lot worse about two months ago though. One of my New Years resolutions was to get through the books that I own and haven’t actually read yet, and so far I’ve been doing pretty good! I’ve knocked off five books from this pile already! Now if only my Goodreads list could be shortened as quickly…. Which of these books do you think I should pick up next?

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
Blood Letting and Other Miraculous Cures
When We Wake
Among Others
Hush Hush
Tiger’s Curse
Thank You For the Memories
Magnified World
White Teeth
Their Eyes Were Watching God
Prodigy
The Year of The Flood
Drunk Mom
Nearlyweds
A Long Way Gone
The Gypsy King
The Little Shadows

  1. Man, that’s quite a list. I have only read White Teeth. If you could, I would appreciate it if you would stop by to tell me your three favorite novels of the 2000s. That’s my search for this week. You seem like the right girl to ask 🙂

  2. Looks like some good reads! If I made stacks of books on my TBR list, I’m afraid they’d fall and squish me! 😉

  4. Haha this post just makes me laugh, because I have the same problem! Two strategies for me: I limit myself to only signing out 3 books from the library at a time (which is harder than it sounds!) Plus I definitely hide books in my dresser so that I can’t see how many books I own that I haven’t read yet! 😀 I haven’t read any in your pile yet, but I’m looking forward to hearing what you think of them!

  5. I’ve heard so many different reactions to Hush Hush from really good to outrageous annoying characters. Still doubting if I should give it a go myself. ‘Thanks for the memories’ of Cecilia is definately one I still want to go through myself
