Tea Time: Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour

amyTea: Copabanana (David’s Tea)
I recieved a free sample of Copabanana with an order of tea that I placed about a month ago. Being a lover of both Banana and Coconut, I was really looking forward to trying this one. Sadly, Copabanana was a bit of a disappointment. While the hints of banana were certainly there, the overall flavour of the tea was just too light and subtle for my taste. It almost tasted like I was just drinking plain hot water. Oh well!

Book: Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour
After the recent death of her father, Amy finds herself on a cross country roadtrip as she travels to join her family in Conneticut. Driving with her is Roger, the son of her mother’s friend whom Amy hasn’t seen since childhood. Struggling with difficult emotions of his own, Roger and Amy soon find themselves bonding as they hit one detour after the next. I’m 100 pages into the book so far and enjoying it. One of the cutest things about the book is the inclusion of photos and sketches in the margins of the pages, making it feel like an actual road trip journal. After hearing so many great things about Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour from other readers, I expect that the rest of the book is only going to get better!
