Tea Time: The Cuckoo’s Calling

This is a green tea with some kick! Recommended to me by one of the salesgirls at David’s Tea, I bought a tiny bag to take home and try. On opening the bag the first thing to hit me was the absolutely delicious smell of cinnamon! The tea itself tasted even better, almost like you were drinking a handful of those cinnamon hearts that you get around Valentine’s Day! Glitter and Gold use to be my go-to tea for cinnamon, but I think Hot Lips might just have taken its place! An added bonus is that it’s organic!

Book: The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith (aka. J.K. Rowling)
I’m happy to report that I actually LOVED this book! I loved it a lot! I’m usually not a Mystery person, but The Cuckoo’s Calling may have changed my stance on the genre! The writing was fast-paced, the characters felt real, and the plot itself was completely consuming. I found it so hard to put this book down! Whenever I was forced to stop reading, the only thing I could think about was how soon I would be able to pick it up again! Rowling also created a fantastic detective to help make the story so compelling. Cormoran Strike is bloody brilliant, and I fell in love with his character, flaws and all, by the end of the book. All I can say is that I’m anxiously awaiting the next book in this series!
Rating: 5 Stars!
