Tea Time: Steelheart

When I first read a description of this tea, I was skeptical. A popcorn flavoured green tea? It certainly sounded strange to me! When my cousin let me steal a sample of her Movie Night purchase, however, I decided to give it a try. I was actually really amazed by how much this tea actually smelled and tasted like popcorn! At first I thought I must be crazy, but after 4 or 5 sips I confirmed that I really was tasting something similar to kettle corn! I was impressed! The tea was sweeter then I expected, but very delicious! While I did enjoy Movie Night, I don’t think that it is something I would personally drink on a regular basis. Although it was yummy, I’m not an overly big fan of popcorn to begin with. It is definitely worth a taste test though if you visit a David’s Tea!

Book: Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson
Holy awesomeness! Steelheart is an absolute knock out! The story focuses on a not so distant future, where a handful of regular people have begun to develop extraordinary powers. Known as Epics, these super human beings are not the cartoon heroes we have come to know and love. Rather than using their powers for good, each of the Epics to emerge is corrupt, violent, and villainous. The worst of all is Steelheart, an Epic so powerful he now rules the entire city of Chicago with an iron fist. Terrified, no one dares to challenge Steelheart’s reign… that is until the Reckoners come along, a group of ordinary humans who spend their lives hunting and assasinating Epics. Steelheart was a wild, addicting, fast paced ride, and I LOVED it! I loved it so much that I couldn’t even stop reading it to write this post last night like I planned to. I just had to get to the end! I’ll hopefully be writing a full review of Steelheart this week! SO GOOD!
