  1. Yesssss, Just One Day and Just One Year. So. Freaking. Good. It’ll be interesting to see who reads Rainbow Rowell’s upcoming adult book and what they think of it. Everyone found her because of her YA books and now she’s going back to adult. Fangirl was my top YA book of the year. I’m also glad I finally read the Divergent series this year. What other YA did I read…I definitely branched out and read more but still not a lot compared to what other bloggers will read! Oh, Katie McGarry’s novels and Anna and Lola! Good reads. That doesn’t give you recs because you’ve already read them…right…moving on… 🙂 Oh, a written reminder to read The Space Between Us by Jessica Martinez! Great Canadian YA. And get on some Sarah Dessen, won’t you? 😉

  2. Great list! I just finished reading ‘Eleanor & Park’ at 2am – loved it, so beautiful and heartbreaking. And all the other books you mentioned were either already on my TBR or added because of your recommendation. I’m looking forward to reading Fangirl and Just One Day in particular.
Last year I didn’t read much YA but one children’s series I loved is ‘Once’ by Morris Gleitzman. And an Australian YA series I really liked was the Phoenix Files by Chris Morphew.
