Tea: Peaches and Cream (David’s Tea)
This herbal tea is a part of the new Spring collection at David’s Tea! Containing peaches, apples, vanilla, crunchy peach pieces, and saffron flowers, the smell of these tea leaves is absolutely scrumptious! Unfortunately, the tea smells better than it tastes. While it isn’t terrible, it doesn’t exactly taste like peaches either. In fact, I found the taste to be very similar to David’s Alpine Punch. Another downside is the fact that the “crunchy peach pieces” seem to dominate the loose leaf mixture, just like the nuts in Forever Nuts and Sleigh Ride. Overall this light tea was tasty, but not something I would buy again.

Book: Never Have I Ever by Katie Heaney
This delightful memoir has been getting a lot of buzz lately, so I was more than excited when my library finally purchased a copy so that I could give it a spin! In Never Have I Ever, Katie Heaney uses humour and wit to discuss her life so far without a date. Having been an awkward and shy teenager/young adult myself, I’ve found myself completely relating to so much of what Katie has written about ill-fated crushes, unrealistic expectations, and the pressure of finding “the One.” I’m halfway through the book right now, and I’ve literally laughed out loud at least ten times. I can’t seem to put it down either, so I’ll probably be done reading it by tonight!
